On six special flag holidays each year, dedicated volunteers from Salida Senior Citizens, Inc. proudly place and remove flags at local businesses, transforming our streets into a sea of red, white, and blue.

This cherished tradition is more than a display of flags — it’s a heartfelt tribute to our veterans, a celebration of our shared history, and a reminder that we stand together as neighbors.
