🥕 Food Programs That Nourish Our Community

At the Salida Community Center, we believe that no one in Chaffee County should go hungry. Our food programs are built on compassion, community, and the simple power of sharing a meal. Through the hard work of volunteers and the generosity of local partners, we provide food and support to thousands of neighbors every year — children, families, and seniors alike. 🏔️💛

TEFAP - (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) provides food for low-come individuals, families, and seniors on a monthly basis. Over 800 people monthly are served.

CSFP- (The Commodity Supplemental Food Program) provides food for low income seniors on a monthly basis. The CSFP is currently provided food to over 150 seniors In Chaffee County.

Program food is provided by Care and Share Food Bank of Colorado Springs and additional grant money from other sources.
