Eyeglasses Program – New Blinker

EYEGLASSES FOR STUDENTS AND LOW INCOME Good vision is a precious gift. It's also a daily necessity. If you can't afford routine eye exams and prescription eyeglasses, The Salida Community Center may be able to help you obtain a free eye exam and free eyeglasses. Low income students may be able to receive free eyeglasses from this non-profit organization. We will accomplish this goal by administering a program in conjunction with the Salida School District. We will be able to provide prescription eyeglasses as well as contact lenses in some cases. The program is available for the low income students in the Salida School District and Chaffee County. Individuals will need to apply for assistance through the Salida Community Center. Children, the elderly and low income are just some of the people who can receive help. Applicants will need to be in financial need.
